Beneath the Light of the Neon Moon of the Shell Beach Inn
Beneath the Light of the Neon Moon of the Shell Beach Inn
In March of 2024 I drove up the coast of California. It was a special trip, driving from Joshua Tree where I had a few pieces in the National Park gallery, then all the way up to San Francisco for Superfine Art Fair. In between, I spent a couple of days in Pismo Beach taking pictures. I expected to get fun shots of the bluffs and the Madonna Inn... but it was the sign at the Shell Beach Inn that is the clear star of the trip.
Here I have 2 versions, a vibrant bright blue neon gusher of a shot, and a more neo-noir reflection of this perfect roadside attraction. Which one is your favorite? Please specify your preference when placing your order.
Taken by RJ Wafer (that's me!) @rojoroach on Instagram, this 360 photograph is printed on aluminum with a white gloss, so the light really pops. This photo comes ready to hang with a floating frame on the back, for a modern and industrial feel. This purchase is for a 12x12" edition.
Also available in larger 24x24" and 30x30" artist signed limited editions.
